Gratuity is a collection of intimate, interconnected moments set in a neighborhood restaurant. Over the course of a single hour, strangers, couples, regulars, and passersby share tables, each bringing their own hopes, frustrations, confessions, and small victories with them.

Minimalist in design and driven by performance, Gratuity relies on strong ensemble work and the audience’s imagination rather than spectacle. The result is an experience that feels immediate, relatable, and refreshingly accessible.

Some moments are laugh-out-loud funny. Others are quietly tender. All of them are deeply human.

Told through a series of short vignettes, Gratuity explores the conversations we have in public spaces and the private emotions that live just beneath them. It is a show about connection, missed chances, grief, unexpected joy, and the meaning we find in everyday encounters.

This one-act comedy runs approximately 60 minutes with no intermission, making it an ideal before-dinner or early-evening theatre experience.
